Education Queensland's Every Day Counts initiative highlights the need for students to attend school every day unless illness or emergency prevents their attendance.
Regular unnecessary absenteeism has an impact on student learning. Being absent for one day every week equates to ten days in a term, or two full weeks of lessons missed across all subject areas in just one term.

If your child is absent from school, please call the school before 8:45am. You can use the 24 Hour School Absence Line (5480 8260) and leave a message, or our regular office number (5480 8222) if you need to speak to our administration staff.
