We are very proud of our large Resource Centre. It is a modern and comfortable facility enjoyed by students, staff and visitors alike. The Centre houses an extensive collection of resources including Reference, Non-Fiction, Fiction, Junior Fiction, Teacher Reference, and Parent Library materials. Students are encouraged to borrow regularly from the collection in class time, during breaks and before school when the Resource Centre is open.
The Resource Centre includes:
Modern furnishings designed to attract and inspire our students
A large work and preparation area for our teachers and teacher aides
Two seminar rooms equipped with an interactive whiteboard and flat screen television, used extensively for meetings as well as student lessons
A spacious layout designed to encourage reading and sharing books
An outdoor learning area with tables and seating
A computer hub used by students for tasks in class time and during breaks
Parent Library
Parents may become members of our Resource Centre and utilise the growing collection of books in our Parent Library. The collection includes books on varied topics such as separation anxiety, helping children through change and grief, human relationships, and social skills.
